Design and Development Process

  1. Discovery Phase: GTECH worked closely with the IOP team to understand their requirements, target audience, and goals for the festival. This phase involved gathering information about the event, its themes, and the desired features for the website.
  1. User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) Design: Our design team created a visually appealing and intuitive user interface to reflect the spirit of the Icons of Porsche festival. The design incorporated sleek and modern elements, aligning with the brand’s image. Wireframes and prototypes were developed to ensure optimal user experience across devices.
  1. Front-end and Back-end Development: GTECH’s development team utilized cutting-edge technologies to build a responsive website that worked seamlessly on desktops, tablets, and mobile devices. The front-end development involved implementing the brand design elements, optimizing performance, and ensuring accessibility. The back-end development focused on building a robust system to handle user registration, ticketing, and data management.
  1. Visitor Registration System: The website featured a visitor registration system that allowed users to provide their details, including name, phone number, and email address. Upon successful registration, users received an email with their system-generated password to log into the application. This login provided access to their DTCM integration, SMS and other features.
  1. On-site Check-in System: GTECH implemented an on-site check-in system that scanned QR codes on users’ tickets. This streamlined the entry process, reducing waiting times and improving overall efficiency.
  1. Comprehensive Data Collection Form: A strategically designed data collection form was integrated into the registration process. This form captured in-depth information about visitors, enabling the client to identify existing Porsche owners and invite them to exhibit their classic cars at the festival.
  1. Registration Management: To maximize attendance, GTECH opened registration two months in advance and sent timely reminders closer to the event date. Additionally, newsletters, SMS messages and QR codes were sent to exhibitors, simplifying their check-in process.
  1. Event Features and Information: The website provided an extensive range of features to enhance the user experience.
